Ivy management on mature trees

I spotted this mature tree with heavy ivy coverage while out walking today. It’s a good reminder that ivy itself isn’t necessarily harmful to a healthy tree, but dense growth can sometimes make it harder to inspect the trunk and branches properly.
I’ve added the tree to I-V Tree so its condition can be recorded and monitored over time. Small observations like this can help build a clearer picture of what’s happening to individual trees in our communities. 🌳
